Regenda Homes has joined JV North to access the consortium’s £500m housebuilding framework.
The Liverpool-headquartered housing association can call-off contractors and consultants to help fast-track the building of new properties.
Regenda currently manages 14,000 properties and has joined the consortium by taking advantage of JV North’s flexible one-year procurement membership option.
This allows it to access JV North’s framework that went live last summer.
Within this are three construction lots with contractors appointed to deliver development schemes valued at up to £4 million, from £4 million to £12 million and £12 million and above.
Seven consultant groups complement this ranging from architectural services and clerks of works to principal designers and employers agents.
JV North Chair, John Bowker, said: “Our procurement membership option gives housing associations and local authorities a really flexible option to help them accelerate their homebuilding programmes.
“With no long-term commitment needed, registered providers can forge ahead with their development activity by capitalising on our framework so they don’t have to go through a full procurement exercise.
“Development schemes of any size can be procured with our construction lots and all the consultants needed to deliver the entire process.”
Procurement members are able to take out a one-year membership option with no long-term commitment and build an unlimited number of homes using JV North’s framework.
Regenda Homes joins Your Housing Group and Irwell Valley Homes which joined the consortium as procurement members in November.
