www.plusdane.co.ukWe are a Macclesfield-based housing association with homes across Cheshire and the High Peak. We exist to help improve lives by playing a part in addressing local housing need.
At the heart of our strategic plan are three key priorities – to be a great landlord, a resilient business and to create great places to live.
This final strand expresses our desire to work with key partners across our patch to shape a varied and quality development pipeline that puts people at its heart.
We want to work with others to ensure we meet local housing need and support thriving neighbourhoods. Our ambitions also focus on the development of core tenures to ensure more affordable homes that are efficient to run.
The Trust is committed to placemaking. In particular, we are building more new homes along Sunderland Street, to increase the options for town-centre living in Macclesfield.
www.peaksplains.orgOne Vision Housing is part of The Sovini Group.
It has approximately 13,000 homes across Sefton, Liverpool, Wirral, Cheshire and West Lancashire.
The organisation formed in 2006 following a successful stock transfer from Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council operating as a not-for-profit organisation, regulated by the Homes and Communities Agency.
One Vision Housing was recognised as one of the best organisations to work for in the UK, having claimed awards in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies To Work For and UK and Europe Great Workplaces.
The organisation has an extensive development plan to create over 600 new homes in Sefton, Liverpool, Cheshire and West Lancashire in the next five years.
The new housing developments will provide quality homes for affordable rent as well as opportunities to own a home through One Vision Housing’s Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy schemes.

South Liverpool Homes (SLH) was formed in October 1999 following a large-scale voluntary transfer from Liverpool City Council. It currently owns and manages approximately 3,850 homes in the South Liverpool area, predominantly in Speke and Garston.
SLH is the majority partner of Avela Home Service, a unique and innovative partnership with Penny Lane Builders Ltd which is responsible for delivering SLH’s repairs and maintenance service across our homes.
SLH has an impressive development pipeline that will see it build 280 homes in Homes England’s 2021/26 Affordable Homes Programme with grant funding being secured via JV North.
The aim is to deliver the majority of homes with an EPC rating of A – the highest level possible – to reduce both carbon emissions and tenant fuel bills while also helping Liverpool City Council meet net zero targets.
www.southliverpoolhomes.co.ukLiverpool-based Cobalt Housing joined JV North in 2023, with plans to scale up its development programme across the Liverpool City Region.
Already owning and managing in the region of 6,000 homes in Fazakerley, Croxteth and Norris Green, it has announced a new development pipeline that will see 1,000 more homes built by the end of 2029.
A key element of the programme will see Cobalt Housing adapting its homebuilding to meet Future Homes Standard criteria that includes new homes producing 75 – 80 per cent less carbon emissions from 2025 by using technologies such as solar voltaic panels and air and ground source heat pumps.
As well as investing £175m, Cobalt Housing will apply for Homes England grant funding via JV North and use the consortium’s framework to appoint local contractors and consultants wherever possible to deliver much-needed properties to help address the housing shortage.
A key element of this investment will improve homes and the wider community alongside Liverpool City Council, Liverpool City Region and other key stakeholders such as partners in education, health, the voluntary sector and its supply chain.
